The IECB ISO 9001 Lead Implementer, a four-day course, is designed to help you acquire the skills necessary to initiate, implement, manage, maintain, and perpetually enhance a Quality Management System (QMS). This course aspires to provide a thorough understanding of the ISO 9001 stipulations, alongside showcasing the best strategies and methodologies employed for the execution and ongoing upkeep of a QMS.

Participation in this course empowers you to aid organisations in adopting a systematic, evidence-driven approach to manage the quality of their offerings. Furthermore, you'll also gain insights into the significance of customer orientation and learn about establishing an organizational culture that promotes and supports quality.

Following the course, there's a certification exam. Successfully passing this exam entitles you to the "Certified ISO 9001 Lead Implementer" credential, which certifies your proficiency in implementing a QMS grounded on ISO 9001 stipulations.

Prerequisites

Course Agenda

  • Day 1:  Foundations of ISO 9001 and the initiation of a QMS implementation
  • Day 2: Implementation plan of a QMS based on Prince2
  • Day 3: Implementation of a QMS
  • Day 4: Monitoring, measurement and reporting requirements, and preparation for the certification audit, as well as the Certification Exam

Assessment

  • All candidates at official training courses are tested throughout their course with quizzes and exercises, in combination with a final exam held on the last day of the course.  Both elements are a part of the overall score. For this course, the final exam constitutes a 12 question essay type exam which should be completed within 180 minutes. A passing score is achieved at 70%.
