Course description

The IECB Certified ISO 37001 Internal Auditor training course equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct audits of an Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) using widely accepted audit principles, procedures, and techniques.

A growing number of organizations are in need of skilled auditors to verify the effectiveness of their policies and anti-bribery controls, implemented as part of an ISO 37001-based ABMS. This course is designed to equip you to fulfil these roles effectively, underscoring the significance of proficient ABMS audits. Additionally, it aims to enhance your abilities to plan and execute ABMS audits in line with the auditing management systems guidelines specified in ISO 19011 and the certification process outlined in ISO/IEC 17021-1.

Course Agenda

  • Day 1: Introduction to the anti-bribery management system (ABMS) and ISO 37001
  • Day 2: ISO 19011 Audit principles, preparation for and initiation of a Stage 1 audit
  • Day 3: Stage 2 Audit, On-site audit activities, Closing of the Audit and the Certification exam

Assessment

  • All candidates at official training courses are tested throughout their course with quizzes and exercises, in combination with a final exam held on the last day of the course.  Both elements are a part of the overall score. For this course, the final exam constitutes a 10 question essay type exam which should be completed within 125 minutes. A passing score is achieved at 70%.
