Course Description

Our GDPR Foundation training enables delegates to learn the foundational elements of a GDPR Compliance Programme, as well as understand the role of the Data Protection Officer. Whether you may be involved in the implementation, or monitoring of business processes, this course is designed to help you understand how data subject rights can influence business practices and obligations. 

After completing this course, you can sit for the exam and gain the “IECB Certified GDPR Foundation” certificate. An IECB GDPR Foundation Certificate proves you know how to add value to a GDPR Compliance Programme.

Course Agenda

• Day 1: Introduction to GDPR Principles and Data Subject Rights
• Day 2: GDPR Compliance Programme overview and the Certification Exam                    

Assessment

• Courses include a number of quizzes and exercises, which count towards the final exam. All candidates at official training courses will be offered the opportunity to sit the final exam on the last course day. For this course, this consists of 40 multiple choice questions, to be completed within a 60 minute time window.
• The pass mark is 70% with exam results being made available within 24 hours. Successful candidates will receive both a digital badge and a Certificate of Achievement.
