Course description

The IECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Implementer is a comprehensive four-day training course designed to provide you with the necessary skills and understanding to establish, implement, manage, and uphold an occupational health and safety management system (OH&S MS) in line with ISO 45001:2018 requirements and guidelines. This course aims to deliver a profound understanding of the ISO 45001 requirements, as well as the best strategies and methodologies used for implementing and sustaining an OH&S MS. The principal goal of this course is to empower you to foster safer working environments.

Upon completion of the course, you'll have the opportunity to take the certification exam. If you succeed in passing the exam, you will be awarded the "Certified ISO 45001 Lead Implementer" credential, verifying your proficiency to implement an OH&S MS adhering to ISO 45001 standards.

Prerequisites

Course Agenda

• Day 1:  ISO 45001 requirements and initiation of an implementation project
• Day 2: Implementation planning activities
• Day 3: Project Implementation and management
• Day 4: Monitoring, reporting, continuous improvement, and preparation for the certification audit, as well as the Certification exam.

Assessment

• All candidates at official training courses are tested throughout their course with quizzes and exercises, in combination with a final exam held on the last day of the course.  Both elements are a part of the overall score. For this course, the final exam constitutes a 12 question essay type exam which should be completed within 180 minutes. A passing score is achieved at 70%.
