Course description

The Certified ISO 14001 Foundation training course provides a foundational insight into Environmental Management and an overview of the ISO 14001 management system. As with all ISO standards, the course is designed to help you gain the knowledge required of an implementation or operational team member, with discussions around environmental policy, operational controls, performance measures, senior management commitment, internal audit, management review, and continual improvement.

The successful completion of the training course is followed by an exam. If you pass the exam, you gain the "Certified ISO 14001 Foundation” certificate, which not only validates your understanding of Management Systems, but prepares you to take part in an implementation project of an EMS based on ISO 14001.

• Day 2: Evaluation of the ISO 14001 requirements and the certification exam

Assessment

• All candidates at official training courses are tested throughout their course with quizzes and exercises, in combination with a final exam held on the last day of the course.  Both elements are a part of the overall score. For this course, the final exam constitutes a 40 question multiple choice type exam which should be completed within 60 minutes. A passing score is achieved at 70%. Self-study candidates can purchase an exam voucher from our Store.
