The IECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor training course equips you with the skillset required to conduct occupational health and safety management system (OH&S MS) audits. This course is built upon ISO 45001, which replaces OHSAS 18001 and serves as the first global standard for OH&S MS.

This course emphasizes the significance of proficient internal audits, enhancing your knowledge and skills to orchestrate and execute an OH&S MS audit in alignment with the ISO 19011 management systems auditing guidelines and ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification process.

Practical exercises are a vital part of this course, designed to reinforce key aspects of an OH&S MS audit: comprehension of ISO 45001 requirements, understanding of audit principles, utilization of tools and techniques for evidence collection, leading an audit team, engaging with auditees, reviewing documented data, drafting nonconformity reports, and compiling the final audit report.

Upon successful completion of the course, an exam follows. Passing the exam earns you the "Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor" credential, which substantiates your professional abilities and certifies your aptitude to audit an OH&S MS in accordance with ISO 45001.

Course Agenda

• Day 1:  Foundations of an OH&S MS based on ISO 45001
• Day 2: ISO 19011 Audit principles and the preparation for and initiation of a Stage 1 audit
• Day 3: Stage 2 Audit activities and closing the audit, as well as the Certification exam

Assessment

• All candidates at official training courses are tested throughout their course with quizzes and exercises, in combination with a final exam held on the last day of the course.  Both elements are a part of the overall score. For this course, the final exam constitutes a 10 question essay type exam which should be completed within 125 minutes. A passing score is achieved at 70%.
